salon voyage croisiere guadeloupe12,000 visitors were accounted for at this first edition held over three days by « L’Agence Penchard » (leading travel and cruise agency in Guadeloupe).
The first day was mainly devoted to the professionals (travel agencies, tour operators, airlines), the following two days were dedicated to visitors looking for information.

Saint Martin imposed its presence with 5 hospitality professionals :
- Beach Plaza, Josiane Davoren
- Esmeralda , Tearai Colombel
- Flamboyant Stephanie Segond
- Hôtel Mercure, Laurence and Lady Isabelle Beyrat
- L'Hoste Hotel, Patrick Amblard

The three days were an opportunity to present our product in all its aspects and to allow those interested to book flights or make reservations on the spot with the agency.
L’Agence Penchard also took this opportunity to launch their 2014 magazine with the best travel / cruises packages.
To close each day a game of questions / answers was organized giving visitors the chance to leave with several prizes (Saint -Martin raffled 5 hotel stays thanks to our partner hotels).

Important: For the past 12 years Guadeloupe was the only destination which didn’t organize tourism tradeshows. Therefore, the Saint-Martin Tourism Office organized regular sales calls, Fam trips and workshops with travel agencies in Guadeloupe to make up for this void.

Gathering all Tourism stakeholders in the same place can only be beneficial for all Tourism related sectors .
Saint Martin could not miss this tradeshow given that we are the only destination served by 3 daily flights with Air Caraibes and Air Antilles Express.

Tearai Colombel ( Esmeralda )
" Very nice experience for our destination , this show will boost sales in high and low season."

Gregory Dumel ( Tourist Office)
"A lot of potential via this tradeshow and we are only at the beginning. Today in Guadeloupe we are increasingly challenged by the Dominican Republic and Cruise (MSC and Costa), but we still remain an appealing and attractive destination for them. We are already preparing for next year and working on being the featured destination for the 2014 edition. We will certainly keep you informed of the progress of this operation. We would also like to thank the AHSM for their cooperation on our various promotional activities. "
