On June 17th, the Saint-Martin Tourism Office and CAP AMAZON its marketing firm in South America hosted an amazing event in Sao Paulo.
The Caribbean counts numerous tourist destinations, but Saint-Martin really has the ambition to distinguish itself.
The Saint-Martin Tourism Office plans to position the island as the perfect festive, smart and romantic destination.
Brazilians are well-known French-lovers.
They will find in Saint-Martin a little piece of France at hand, through its gastronomy and good wine.
Once again, Saint-Martin has everything in its favor to please.
The Launching Event featured a culinary collaboration between Franck GUILLEMIN, the Chef “Ocean 82” restaurant in Grand-Case, and Christian FORMON, a chef established in Brazil for several years now.
The guest list is composed of travel agents, tour-operators, opinion leaders, and Brazilian and international press.
To these diverse media are added personalities such as the French Consulate and Embassy in Brazil, and the “Alliance Française” in Sao Paulo.
Another highlight of the evening was the exhibition of local artists, ambassadors of the island’s culture, such as Cindy CHOISY, and a raffle to win a stay in Saint-Martin courtesy of our partners (Hotel Mercure Saint-Martin Marina and Spa, Esmeralda Resort Hotel, Belmond La Samanna Resort, Alamanda Resort Hotel), all of this in a dream like set up in the heart of Europa Gardens in São-Paulo.
